The first transgender woman to ever compete in a Miss California Pageant is ready to erase the last public trace of her previous identity, and start fresh … but first she needs a judge’s stamp of approval.
According to docs … Kylan Arianna Wenzel — a 2013 Miss CA USA contestant — is asking the courts to change her name to Kalani Arabella Winkler. A hearing’s scheduled for later this month.
She says as it stands … her co-workers can Google her current name and harass her for being transgendered — so, she needs the change to get her privacy back and to gain a taste of anonymity.
We’re not sure why she’s hanging on to the initials, but at least her monogrammed towels will still be in play.
