Unilever Unveils the New Look of Closeup Toothpaste
Unilever Nigeria PLC, a leading consumer goods company, recently re-launched the Closeup Toothpaste brand across the three variants; Deep Action Red Hot, Naija Herbal Gel and Herbal Paste. This relaunch was kicked off on Tuesday, April 21st at Protea Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.
The Closeup Toothpaste brand now wears a new logo in new attractive packs. The Closeup brand is well poised to cater to the oral care of Nigerians with a formulation that contains micro-shine crystals to clean the deep corners of the mouth and active zinc mouth wash that kills 99.9% of germs to give a longer lasting fresh breath for 12 hours non-stop.
Speaking at the launch event, Brand Building Director, Oral and Personal Care, Unilever Nigeria, David Okeme stated that Unilever is also excited to introduceDavido, a multiplatinum selling artiste as the official Brand Ambassador for Closeup. This geared towards engaging our core target the Nigerian youth.
The Category Manager, Oral care Unilever Nigeria, BunmiAdeniba, explained that the re-launch of Closeup toothpaste was done on the background of the new campaign tagged “ 12hours of Fresh Breath” a reflection of the brand’s commitment to giving everyday Nigerians a brilliant, healthy white smile and a 12 hours fresh breath regardless of the status.
