Very many prominent african musicians came together and recreate the beautiful song “We are the world.” This song originally is a charity single recorded by the supergroup USA for Africa in 1985. It was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie, and produced by Quincy Jones and Michael Omartian for the album We Are the World.
The new African version is produced by Metropolitan Republic and Bomb Commercial both based in South Africa. It has great musical directors from South Africa in the persons of Lindelani Mkhize and Oskido (Assistant musical director) .
