Scientists Reveal How Much Water You Need To Drink

Every day you lose water through your breath, perspiration, urine and bowel movements. It flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells, and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.

For your body to function properly, you must replenish its water supply by consuming beverages and foods that contain water. Experts determined that an adequate intake of fluid for men living in a temperate climate is roughly about 3 liters of total beverages a day, while for women is about 2.2 liters.

Needless to say, in a hot tropical climate you are likely to sweat more and consequently you should pay even more attention to your fluid levels to prevent dehydration. You can drink tea, coffee and fruit juices, even simple watermelon count.
