New Updates:

President Buhari in Doha, Qatar

President Buhari, on his tour of the middle east visited Doha, Qatar on the 27th of February, 2016. Many Nigerians may be complaining about his constant world tour but is it worth it that the president makes all these international tour. Though we may have our many problems, I think the tour is necessary. We need the friendship and support of some strategic international countries for our good. No country is an Island of itself. President Buhari is not visiting these countries for a pleasure trip but for some economic purposes. Soon we may start ripping its benefits.

One of his main reason for visiting Qatar was the stabilisation of the price of crude oil which was the same reason he visited Saudi Arabia. Hopefully his visit will yield its anticipated result. If the price of crude oil increases and is stabilised instead of this steady decline, Nigeria has a lot to gain. The Nigerian economy depends largely on the price of crude at the moment. President Buhari is making effort to diversify our economic products to include more of other areas like agriculture, mining, and manufacturing. But before this is achieved, something needs to be done to raise from the dead the price of crude oil. This is one of the purposes of Buhari’s trips to the middle east.
