Belgian youngster Charly Musonda has signed a new contract at Premier League club Chelsea despite interest from the Blues’ rivals Arsenal, Real Madrid, and other clubs in England.
Recently, the 21-year-old moaned about his lack of regular playing times under Chelsea coach Antonio Conte in which there were many reports that he could leave in January.
But Charly Musonda has had a change of heart and is now committed to the Stamford Bridge landlords until the year 2022.
Musonda told Chelsea’s official website:
“I am very happy and very proud. I came here very young and I’m very happy to continue my journey here. I love this club so it’s a great moment for me and my family. Now I want to establish myself and progress into the team and stay here permanently.” he said.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Premier League club Chelsea are tracking the signing of Russian midfielder Aleksandr Golovin who currently plays for CSKA Moscow.
