The board on Friday, April 7, announced the suspension of the UTME registration for one day. The suspension which takes effect from 8 p.m on Friday, was to create space for CBT centers to administer the mock UTME tests.

aeroberry has compiled some important details about the mock test that candidates need to know.

1. The mock examination is not compulsory. Only those who indicated interest during the registration are eligible.

2. Candidates who indicated interest should check their JAMB UTME registration email for their respective centers and time of the exam.

6. The CBT Centers are allowed to collect through their (CBT Centers) bank accounts, a separate ₦700 only, for the examination after notification of center has been received by the candidate.

7. There is no make up test for those who will miss the mock exam.

Meanwhile, students have been complaining about not the rigorous process of registering for this year’s UTME. Some have successfully registered while others are yet to do so.

Those who have registered are now complaining that they have checked their profile but no information about the venue or time for the mock examination.

Recall that the House of Representatives had demanded an extension of one month duration for the ongoing registration.

However, the registrar of JAMB, Professor Is-haq Oloyede, said about 871,576 candidates have so far been registered for the 2017 UTME and there might be no need for an extension of the registration exercise after its expiration.
