A wet Monday morning in Manchester didn’t dampen the spirits of the United players as the squad trained ahead of Tuesday’s crucial UEFA Champions League clash against Sevilla.
After a goalless draw in the last-16 first leg match in sunny Andalucia three weeks ago, conditions were rather different on the eve of the second leg. Wrapped up warm, the Reds were fully focused in a session at the Aon Training Complex which was open to the media for the first 15 minutes.
Anthony Martial and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were both involved, despite being absent through injury for a short and long period respectively, but Paul Pogba did not appear during the open part of the session. The Frenchman missed Saturday’s win over Liverpool due to a problem he picked up in training on Friday.
