Despite been impressive for their national teams at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, the trio of Mohamed Salah, Eden Hazard and Antoine Griezmann were left out of the ultimate FIFA 19 team of the year.
Egypt international Mohamed Salah netted 31 Premier League goals for Liverpool, but it wasn’t enough for the former Chelsea star to be named in the best XI.
Chelsea winger Eden Hazard helped his nation Belgium to reach the semifinal of the 2018 World Cup, but he was also snubbed.
Other notable names not to be included are Luis Suarez, Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann and England captain Harry Kane.
Four Premier League players made the team of the year and they are David De Gea, N’Golo Kante, Kevin De Bruyne and Virgil Dijk.
Real Madrid also have four of their players in the team and they are captain Sergio Ramos, Luka Modric, Marcelo and Raphael Varane.
Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona star Lionel Messi and Frenchman Kylian Mbappe also made the team of the year.
