Chelsea make £26.8m bid for Leandro Paredes to replace Fabregas

After Fabregas left for Monaco, Mauricio Sarri made it clear to the club that he needs a replacement for Fabregas. At the moment Jorginho who benched Fabregas has no back up and Sarri admitted that he would have substituted him if he had a replacement on Saturday when they played Newcastle which ended 2 – 1 in favour of Chelsea. Consequently, Chelsea are under pressure to strengthen their midfield and ready to pay more to Zenit to get the service of Paredes in their club.
For your information, Leandro Paredes is an Argentinean midfielder who has earned 9 caps for Argentina. At the moment, he is talking of leaving Zenit to go back to Argentina to play for his boyhood club, Boca Junior.
