Nigeria Is Richer Than Dubai, But Corruption Won’T Make It Develop – Arabian Man

Nigeria, a country in the West African region, is richer than Dubai, one of the most advanced cities located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), but its development is hampered by corruption, an Arabian man has said.

In a video trending on social media, the Arabian man, whose name was not revealed, said Nigeria has a problem of bad leadership.

According to him, Nigeria is rich in oil and that the country had the mineral resource before Dubai discovered its own.Apart from oil, the man said Nigeria is blessed with fertile land for agriculture.

He said: “Nigeria is way richer than Dubai. Nigeria had crude oil before Dubai.”Nigeria also has agriculture, gold, diamond and many other valuable mineral deposits (mining), but Nigeria is currently the way it is because of bad leaders.”The only reason Dubai is better than Nigeria is because of good leadership.

”It was reported how a report by the United States revealed that there is corruption at all levels of government in Nigeria.

The report notes that the president, vice president, governors and deputy governors are given immunity from civil and criminal prosecution.

The report focused on the number of convictions the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) have secured.

However, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau, on Friday, April 19, urged Christians to pray for the nation’s leaders and the country to overcome its numerous challenges.

Lalong stated this , in his Easter goodwill message signed by his senior special assistant on media and publicity, Mark Longyen.

“True Christianity places on our shoulders, the responsibility of praying ceaselessly and fervently for our leaders.

“We are reminded to also pray for our country to enable us to overcome the numerous challenges which we currently face as a nation,” he said.
