Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has reportedly decided to sign a new contract with the club because he wants to link up with January signing, Bruno Fernandes, according to the Daily Mail.
The France World Cup winner has been impressed by the impact Fernandes has had on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men since his £47million move to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon last January.
The 26-year-old believes he and the Portuguese star can spearhead a new era of success at the Theatre of Dreams.
Fernandes joined the Red Devils last January transfer window from Sporting Lisbon.
Pogba, who is widely expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of next season, has drawn interest from Real Madrid and Juventus in the past few months.
Pogba’s current deal at United will expire at the end of next season.
He is currently recovering from ankle surgery and has been out for several weeks.
Man United’s next fixture is against LASK in the Europa League on Thursday.
